Would not want to stuck in the “human jam” at the city centre. So… we went to Holland Village for NY’s Eve dinner. It was my 2nd time to Holland Village actually. When I first went there, my first thought was, it look like a place at Bangsar though. Yea.. the Jalan Telawi place where used to have many pubs, drinking corner…Now is more like a shopping boutique place.
As today’s topic is Holland Village, hence, I shouldn’t tell you any further about Bangsar,… hehehe…Definitely there is a chance…
Take a look some of the pictures taken at Holland Village on the NY’s Eve. Today I came to know there is a Holland Village Shopping Mall. It is only a 2 storey mall, small one……
Today my British colleague gave me a website which is very informative on the current environment status for all countries. This particularly apply to countries have got high terrorism.
Click the link here.
The website also give other advices such as natural disaster, the crime rate, road travel, places to avoid, travel requirement and etc. Although this website is only apply for British citizen but it is actually useful for everyone irrespective of who you are.
Sri Lanka is high terrorism rate.. And seems yesterday, there was suicide bomb blast and killed 8 people at the Civil Defence Force, Wattala, Colombo. Check this site for more info. I better not to tell mum about this…. :S
Yea… if you’re a Malaysian reader, you should try Pepper Lunch. A recommended japanese restaurant… although every time when we came out from the restaurant, we do smells like Pepper Lunch too. Hhahaha…
Pepper Lunch cannot be found in Malaysia… Not at this moment yet.
The food is place at very hot pan. Served with rice or spaghetti…. everyone has to be little chef. Stir the food thoroughly in order for food to be cooked i.e. fish, beef, chicken.
AAAahhhHh… Yum yum…!
Went to IMM at Jurong East. A very large mall which is not so convenient when taking public transport. Has to take about 8-10 minutes walk from the Jurong East MRT station.
One thing I like about IMM is, the shoppers are lesser than the malls at the city centre. And Daiso there is much bigger and more choices of $2 items to choose from. I prefer the Daiso at IMM than the rest…
Well, all malls in Singapore more or less they are the same…. but this IMM is somewhat a mall that has got many stores you may able to find….
I am not a shopper though but a walker. Alright… here are some of the photos taken that gives you a reason for you to go to IMM.
It is end of the year. Instead countries in the west are having winter season – snowing, or very cold weather. In South East Asia is having rainy season – called Northeast monsoon from November to January.
The Christmas in Singapore….
As for the northern part of Asian countries – Far East Asia – Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and etc… the season now is very cold and dry… as referring to my mum who just came back recently from Taiwan on her 2 weeks trip. She said, “Taiwan is very very COLD…. all came back in runny nose and sick….” To me, i feel they are not use to the weather there…
UK and certain parts in Europe,.. snow won’t come until January. I remember, me and my friends went to the Northern of Scotland on Christmas Day to check for snow at Inverness… There wasn’t a single drop of snow at the sea level until we went up the hills where people actually went there for skis. Only then in January, snow falls at the City centres in UK.
Ho Ho Ho ho..
