Strange houses

When people is strange, their houses can be strange too.

While i was driving, i slowed down my car abruptly…. and took a close look at the double storey house located near the Jalan Klang Lama (Old Klang Road) – Kuala Lumpur.  Something extraordinary I have never seen.  SOOOOOO many lanterns!!!!

I pondered, maybe this owner supplies lanterns?  Or gotten these lanterns on very cheap sale!  Or promotion buy 1 get 100!???

Never seen such a thing... More lanterns than chinese temples.

These shots were taken when I was in Kuala Lumpur during Chinese New Year.

Another strange thing seen today……

A KTV bar/pub called Cleopatra KTV (Bencoolen Street, Singapore)… has put lots of ‘heart’ to decorate their  premises ‘nicely and uniquely’ for 2009 Chinese New Year.

I’ve never seen so big red firecracker in my entire life….

Do you think its nice?  Hmm… people can be very creative and this owner is very creative that I don’t think its nice to see though.  Kinda scary to me…and it also tells that this owner plays loads of badminton games.. hahaha….

Mid Valley

Surely I will go to Mid Valley because it is just a 3-5 minutes drive without jam.  Do not know why, i like to hang out at Mid Valley.  Probably its near my home… Although Mid Valley has expanded to The Gardens, however, i still enjoy walking the old wing..

Tourists visit Kuala Lumpur, should drop by to shop or at least visit Mid Valley.

Here are some shots taken…..Chinese New Year decor is up!

Various flavour mochi....

Various flavour mochi....

I wonder why Mochi is famous in Singapore…in fact, there are many stalls selling mochi.. and they came from Taiwanand not locally made. Famous in Singapore.  I never see KL sell this type of packed mochi.  Often see aunties selling homemade mochi in KL Chinatown and Pasar Malam (night market) dipped around the mochi with chunk of peanut.  I wonder if they are the same kind of mochi… ?  The mochi are selling for 100g for S$1.50. I bought some home….
